Cane toads make a meal of killing dwarf crocs

Toxic cane toads have wiped out some populations of dwarf crocodiles in northern Australia.

Dwarf crocodiles found in upstream escarpment stretches of some Northern Territory rivers are small because their growth is stunted by a lack of food, and the spread of the introduced cane toads has brought a plentiful but deadly addition to their diet.
